SNOOP is a registered charity based in Ravenscliffe, Bradford. It’s run by a voluntary management committee and qualified staff who work with young people with disabilities and complex health needs aged 2-25+years. They aim to support young people with learning difficulties and educate parents/ carers through the wide range of services they offer, ensuring their users feel valued and supported.
Project Details
Strategy Development:
SNOOP have clear vision and mission statements and are skilled in supporting their users in order to work towards these. Despite this, they need help collating their vision and ideas into a formal strategy. Support needed:
- Help developing formal strategy
- Developing short, medium and long term plans
- Help with monitoring and evaluation of strategy
- Updating business plan
Accessing Funding:
SNOOP run a number of schemes and provide many services to its users/ community. They run the “Help I’m Lost” scheme in Bradford, an imperative service that supports people with disabilities in feeling confident when travelling, which they don’t receive any funding for. They need help with accessing funding so they can continue the services they offer and expand on them. Support needed:
- Sourcing grants and funding
- Help with writing funding bids
- Help developing new fundraising initiatives

We are open to working with a wide range of volunteers who are able to help us with the three projects above.
