Project Details
Frizinghall Community Centre recently obtained a grant to green up their outdoor space. They have decided to utilise this grant to install the following:
- Build and Installing 2x large seated planters*
- Build and Install growing beds*
- Paint builds (end of the day)

On-site support
On the day Participate will be providing a member of staff to support the volunteers. A first aid kit will be available during the challenge. A tools talk and health and safety briefing will be given by Participate at the beginning of the day.
Preparation
Volunteers will be undertaking general construction and painting activities. Volunteers should pay particular attention to footwear wearing sturdy, comfortable footwear. Do not wear flip flops, Crocs or any other open footwear. Where personal protective equipment is required, it will be provided. Activities are taking place outdoors and as such the volunteers should be prepared for inclement weather or sunshine.
